Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, 89

Mrs. Catherine M. (Kitty) (nee Gallo) Pecoraro, 89, of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at The Center of Hope Hospice. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, October 7 at 8:30a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Valentine’s church, Bloomfield, at 9:30a.m. The internment will be at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be on Friday, October 6 from 4:00p.m. - 8:00p.m.

Mrs. Pecoraro was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Nutley six years ago. She was co owner of Pecoraro Bakery with her late husband Sam from 1976 until retiring in 2001. Pecoraro Bakery opened in 1923. Mrs. Pecoraro volunteered her time at St. Valentine’s church, Bloomfield.

She is survived by her beloved children Paul Pecoraro and his wife Christine, Maria Pecoraro, Roberta Pecoraro and Rosemary Oates and her husband Kevin; her 6 loving grandchildren and her precious great granddaughter.

Mrs. Pecoraro is predeceased by her husband Salvatore (Sam) Pecoraro, her son James Pecoraro and her granddaughter Kristen Ann.
