 Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 88

Mrs. Angela (nee La Falce) Verderese, 88, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family, The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, September 14 at 9:30 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 10:45 a.m.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 13 from 4:00 – 8:30 p.m.  The cremation will be held privately.  

Mrs. Verderese was born in Newark and resided in Bloomfield for many years before moving to Clifton.  She was a loving Mother to her cherished family.

She is survived by her beloved children Sam Verderese, Karen Phillips and her husband Paul,  Lois Verderese, Deborah Picini and her husband Richard, Lisa Turano and her husband Giorgio; her loving sister Joan Calabrese; her cherished grandchildren Courtney and her husband Michael, Kristin and her husband Salvatore, Alexandra and her longtime boyfriend Andrew, Fabio, Francesca and Joseph; and her precious great-grandchildren Julianna, Harper and Salvatore.  She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Verderese is predeceased by her husband Frederick J. Verderese and her sister Frances Bertucelli.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to VHS Hospice Services of NJ, 783 Riverview Drive, Totowa, NJ 07512.
