Agnes Elizabeth Aversano 

Loved By All Who Knew Her

Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth (nee Fucci) Aversano of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, September 8 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 11:30 a.m. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlingon.  

Mrs. Aversano was born on Garside Street in Newark's First Ward and later moved to Nutley where she resided for many years.  She worked for both Nutley High School and the Franklin Middle School  for many years before retiring.  Previously, she worked for Wang Laboratories, East Rutherford.  Mrs. Aversano was a member of the Concerned Women of America.  She taught Catechism and loved taking care of children.  Her greatest joy was caring for her loving family.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Gynine and her beloved son John, Jr.; her loving sister Marie; and her cherished grandson Alexander Michael.  She is also survived by her many loving nephews and nieces, and her many loving lifelong friends.

Mrs. Aversano is predeceased by her husband John D. Aversano and her sister Phyllis De Gregorio.
