Mr. Thomas L. Marvel, 63, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  Because of current health advisories, private funeral services will be held.  A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.

Mr. Marvel was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 38 years.  He was a Mail Handler for the U.S. Post Office for 35 years before retiring in 2016.

Mr. Marvel is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Debbie (nee Salvatore) Marvel; his devoted daughter Britney Marvel; his loving brother Michael “Mickey” Marvel and his wife Joanne, and his loving sister Patricia Kraska and her husband William; his dear nieces and nephews Reyna, Karen, William, Jr.; and his loving sister-in-law Diane Salvatore.

He is predeceased by his parents George and Jean (nee Purdy) Marvel, his brother George “Buster” Marvel, and his sister Bobbi Marvel.
