Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 96

Mrs. Theresa (nee Guarino) Wasilak, 96, of Nutley, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2023.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, July 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30 a.m. The interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 23 Cottage Place, Bloomfield.

Mrs. Wasilak was born in Newark, NJ and was a lifelong Nutley resident.  She was a member of the Nutley Senior Citizens Wednesday Club.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved children Denise Biondi and her husband Joseph, and Lisa Carrick and her husband Michael; her cherished grandchildren Joey Biondi and his wife Megan, Michael Carrick and his wife Brooke, Jake Biondi and his wife Lauren, Jillian Carrick; and her precious great-granddaughter Bronagh Belle Biondi.  She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wasilak is predeceased by husband Joseph Wasilak (2015), and her five brothers and two sisters.
