Beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother, 38

Mr. Steven J. Velsor, 38, of Cedar Grove, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.   The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, June 9 at 8:30 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove at 10:00 a.m.  The cremation will be held privately.  Visitation will be on Friday, June 8 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.   

Mr. Velsor was born in Passaic, NJ and grew up and later resided in Cedar Grove, NJ with his family.  Steven was brought up in the printing industry and was able to use his wit, charm, knowledge and expertise to build his own successful career in it.  He had two sons with whom he enjoyed playing sports, taking to the beach/boardwalk, fishing or just spending quality couch time.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia (Burdzy), his cherished children Justin and Jordan, his devoted parents Jim and Peg (Thompson), his loving siblings Lauren Velsor, Craig Velsor and Erica Ranjitsingh and her husband Joey.  Steven is also survived by his loving nephews and niece, Mason, Jo-Jo, Jax, Julien, and Ellie, and his Godmother Jeanne Thompson.
