Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, 87

Mrs. Sixta V. (nee Cruz) Cadena, 87, of Hoboken, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Hoboken University Medical Center.  Because of current health advisories, there will be a private family visitation and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington on Thursday April 2.  

Mrs. Cadena was born in Ambato, Ecuador and immigrated to Hoboken in 1970.  She was the owner of Sixta Beauty Salon, Hoboken for over 40 years before retiring.  Mrs. Cadena was a devout parishioner of St. Frances Church, Hoboken.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Marciano Cadena; her devoted children Ines Ptaszynski, Marcelo Cadena, and Caroline Cadena and her husband Oscar Ojeda; her loving brother Eduardo Cruz; and her cherished grandchildren Cedric Ardente and Luna Ojeda.

Mrs. Cadena is predeceased by her brother German Sanchez and her son-in-law Kenneth Ptaszynski.
