Beloved Father, Brother and Grandfather, 87

Private funeral services were held for Mr. Santo R. Gibilisco, 87, of Morris Plains, NJ, formerly of Bloomfield, who passed away at his son’s home on Friday, January 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.   

Mr. Gibilisco was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Bloomfield before moving to Morris Plains sixteen years ago.  He began his career as a contractor and shop steward for Labors Local #342, Newark where he was employed for over forty years.  He then worked with his son Pat, proprietor of PG Construction, Morris Plains, as a foreman for 25 years before retiring.

He is survived by his beloved sons Paul Gibilisco, Robert Gibilisco and his wife Teri, and Pat Gibilisco and his wife Kathy; his dear sister Paula DeVos and her husband John; and his cherished grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Danielle, Jesse, Cole and Robert.

Mr. Gibilisco is predeceased by his wife Louise (Cerasiello) Gibilisco (2015); his parents Salvatore and Angela (Lovallo) Gibilisco; and his brother Angelo Gibilisco.
