Beloved Father, Brother, and Grandfather, 87

Mr. Salvatore G. Del Mauro, 87, of Bloomfield, NJ, formerly of Lyndhurst, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Job Haines Home, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 29 at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Avenue, Nutley from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 30 at 8:30 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield at 9:30 a.m. The cremation will be held privately.

Mr. Del Mauro was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Lyndhurst for many years before moving to Bloomfield twenty four years ago.  He was employed by the Nutley Board of Education as a maintenance worker for many years before retiring. 

He is survived by his beloved children Dona Duca and her husband Anthony, and Steven Del Mauro and his wife Graceann; his dear twin sisters Joan Del Mauro and Carolyn Lambo and her husband Peter; and his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Steven, Nicholas, Damian and Gia.

 Mr. Del Mauro is predeceased by his wife Patricia (nee Thorwell) Del Mauro (2015); his parents Salvatore and Camilla (nee Verderosa) Del Mauro; and his brother Carmine (Zeke) Del Mauro.
