Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great- Grandmother, 96

Mrs. Rosemary (nee Sweeney) Simone, 96 of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Nutley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, March 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 21 at 9:15 a.m.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place, Nutley at 10:30 a.m.  The cremation will be held privately.

Rosemary was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley for 76 years before moving to Toms River three years ago.  She was employed by Certified Metals in Clifton as a Bookkeeper for many years before retiring in 1992.  Rosemary’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved children, Rosemary Simone, Alexis Simone, Alexander Simone, Jr. and his wife Petrina, Barry Simone and his wife Natalie, Robert Simone and his wife Patricia; her cherished grandchildren Stephanie DeCarlo and her husband Thomas, Nicholas Simone, Anthony Simone and his fiancé Jennifer D’Amico, Nicole Schrodi and her husband Kristopher, Noelle Wall and her husband James, Alexander Simone, Robert Simone Jr; and also her precious great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Julianna, and Natalia Schrodi.

Rosemary is predeceased by her husband Alexander Simone (2004).
