Beloved Aunt, Great-Aunt and Great-Great-Aunt, 101

Mrs. Rose H Paiva, 101, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.   Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, January 10, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 155 Williams St, Belleville at 11:00 a.m.  The entombment will follow at the Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge.

Rose was born in the Ironbound Section of Newark before moving to Belleville over fifty years ago.  She was employed by Victory Optical, Newark for many years before retiring.

She is survived her loving nieces Rose Czajkowski and her husband Richard, Fran and Mary Jane Salzano; her dear great-nieces and nephews, and also her cherished great-great nieces and nephews.  

Rose is predeceased by her husband James Paiva (2002); her parents Samuel and Jennie (nee Lardieri) Salzano; her brothers Frank and James Salzano, her sister Maria Salzano; and her nephews Samuel and Philip Salzano.
