Rose De Rogatis, 95

Miss Rose De Rogatis, 95, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her home.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, May 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.   There will be a funeral mass celebrated on Friday, May 7 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue,  Bloomfield at 9:30 a.m.  The interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange.

Rose was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Bloomfield in 1979.

She was employed as a Claim Consultant with Prudential Insurance Company for 43 years.

She was a member of the September Club at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield.

Rose was an expert seamstress and loved to travel.

She was predeceased by her father Paul Emil De Rogatis, her mother Maria (Lepore), sisters Sr. Paula De Rogatis, Virginia Ricciardi, and Gloria Clark.  Surviving is her sister Marie Roberts and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects in a timely fashion and exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the funeral home. Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
