Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 98

Mrs. Rose J. (nee Marra) DeRisi, 98, of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley on Monday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m.  Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.  The entombment will be at Immaculate Conception Chapel Mausoleum, 712 Grove Street, Upper Montclair.

Rose was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Bloomfield where she raised her family.  She was a graduate of Central High School in Newark.  Rose was employed as a bookkeeper for City & State Co. in Union for many years before retiring.  Previously, she was employed by the Veteran's Administration, Newark also as a bookkeeper.  Her passion was spending time with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.  She was a loving mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by her beloved son Tony Ciel and his wife Debi; her cherished two grandsons Tony and his wife Natalie, and Matt and his wife Brenna; and her precious great-grandchildren Mason and Sage.  She is also survived by her loving niece Donna and loving nephews Ed, Joe, John and Paul.
