Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Uncle, 70
Mr. Robert T. Ryan, 70, of Belleville, formerly of Nutley, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, May 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated on Thursday, May 5 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with military honors. The cremation will be held privately.
Mr. Ryan was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley for ten years before moving to Belleville in 1988. He was the owner of Aqua Lawn Sprinklers, Nutley and a plumber for many years before retiring. He proudly served his country as a Lance Corporal, Machine Gunner in the United States Marines Corp during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Ryan is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Karen (nee Predale) Ryan; his loving children Beau Ryan and Erica Ryan Zarro; his dear sister Suzanne Ryan de Brun and her husband William; his cherished grandson Logan John Zarro. He was also the caring uncle of Steven de Brun, Loren Northwang and their families.
Mr. Ryan is predeceased by his mother Grace (nee Weigand) Ryan.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to the Disabled American Veterans, the Wounded Warriors Project or to the Vietnam Veterans Association.
