Beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather 84

Mr. Robert E. Davis, 84, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Community Hospital Medical Center in Toms River.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, October 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, October 7 at 10:00 am.  The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.

Robert was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley his whole life before moving to Manchester in 2016.  He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for Riverwood International in Montvale, formerly knowns as Federal Paperboard, for many years before retiring.  Robert was a muscle car and motorcycles enthusiast, and also enjoyed going on cruises.  Robert and is wife Martha would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on January 14, 2024.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Martha (nee Carlson) Davis; his devoted children John Davis and his wife Patricia, Barbara Davis Wilks Aliotta, his daughter-in-law Marianna Davis; his six loving grandchildren and six cherished great-grandchildren; his brother Thomas Davis and his wife Kim, his sister Carol Ortiz and her husband Tito.  He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.      

Robert is predeceased by his parents Eugene and Dorothy (nee Furlong Weischedell) Davis, his beloved son Richard Davis (2007), and his son-in-law Anthony Aliotta.
