A Vietnam War Veteran, 71
Mr. Randolph Muniz, 71, of Belleville, NJ, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:45 p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service, with Military Honors to follow after the service by the United States Air Force. Cremation will be held privately.
Mr. Muniz was born in New York City and resided in Belleville for the past twenty nine years. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Randolph was employed as a transportation security officer by the Transportation Security Administration for the Newark Liberty International Airport for twenty years.
Mr. Muniz is survived by his beloved wife of twenty nine years Graciela (nee Villalva) Muniz; his cherished sister Sylvia Lijo Camoso; his dear brother Francis Muniz and his wife Lilly; and his cherished nephews Edmundo and Jamie. He is also survived by caring mother-in-law Beatrice Villalva.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects and then immediately exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the funeral home. Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
