Beloved Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother and Grandfather, 80

Private funeral services will be held for Mr. Ralph A. Iovino, 80, of Belleville, NJ, who passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Mr. Iovino was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 48 years.  He was employed by A & P in Woodland Park as Manager of the Meat Department for many years before retiring.  Mr. Iovino was a long-time member of the North Ward Dukes,  and was known to many as “Ralphie Boy”.  He was loved by all and will truly be missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife for 48 years Marlene (nee Izzolino) Iovino; his beloved children Gina Marie Sparano and her husband Matthew, Michael Iovino, Cheryl Malinski and her husband Michael, and Gabrielle Tortorello and her husband Anthony; his dear nephew Ralph Tunis and his husband Mike Cromey; his loving sisters Vincenza Juliano and Antonia Laterza; his cherished grandchildren Jack, Vincent, Nicky, Michael, Keith, Steven and Danielle.  

Mr. Iovino is predeceased by his son John Iovino (September 16, 2020), and his sister Patricia Tunis.
