Beloved Father and Grandfather, 92
Mr. Prospero Pangaro, 92 of Cresskill, NJ, formerly of Clifton and Bloomingdale, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the N.J. Veterans Memorial Home, Paramus. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, January 28 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m. The interment will be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton with military honors.
Mr. Pangaro was born and raised in Clifton, NJ and resided in Bloomingdale before moving to Cresskill several years ago. He was employed by the Tenax Finishing Products Company, Newark for 35 years. His last position being Department Technician/Head Chemist before retiring. Mr. Pangaro served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was also a proud member of VFW Post 504 of Clifton/Passaic.
Mr. Pangaro is survived by his beloved daughters Barbara Bailey and her husband Rich, and Beverly Peluso and her husband Mario; and also his cherished grandchildren Beverly Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Alexandra Schultz and her husband Michael, Danielle Peluso, Renee Peluso and Joseph Peluso; and his brother-in-law Bernard Sensale and his wife Evelyn. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pangaro is predeceased by his wife Bette (nee Sensale) Pangaro (1999), his parents Prospero and Rosa (nee Spaltro) Pangaro, and his five dear brothers Nick, Frank, Joseph, Louis and Anthony Pangaro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimers Association, alz.org.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects in a timely fashion and exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the funeral home. Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
