Potito "Pat" D'Antuono
Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 84
Mr. Potito "Pat" D’Antuono, 84, of Estero, FL, formerly of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020. Due to the current health advisories, private funeral services will be held with an entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.
Mr. D’Antuono was born in Melfi, Potenza, Italy in 1936, and immigrated to the United States in 1951. He resided in Nutley, NJ for 42 years before retiring to Estero, FL, in 2004. In 1969, Mr. D’Antuono opened Franklin Floors at 337 Franklin Ave, in Nutley NJ. He worked as owner and president of the successful local floor covering company for 26 years. He was a member and past-president of the local Lions Club, UNICO National, and the Italian American Club. Mr. D’Antuono enjoyed golfing and playing tennis at Estero Country Club at The Vines in Estero Florida, where he was a member for 16 years.
Mr. D’Antuono is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Dorothy (Ciaramello) D’Antuono; his devoted children, daughter Lucille Cifelli and her husband Nicolino, sons Anthony D’Antuono and his wife Francine, and Joseph D’Antuono and his wife Jacqueline; his cherished grandchildren LuAnn Cifelli, Daniella Cifelli, Merissa D’Antuono, Nicolette D’Antuono, Antonia D’Antuono, Dillon D’Antuono, Dean D’Antuono, his great-grandsons Carmine & Dominick Manfre; and his loving brother Michael D’Antuono. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. D’Antuono is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Lucia (Belotzzi) D’Antuono, his brothers Vincent D’Antuono and Rocco D’Antuono and grandson Nicolino Cifelli Jr.
