Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Aunt, 63
Private funeral services were held for Mrs. Phyllis A. (nee Ficuciello) Smith, 63, of Montclair, NJ, who passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Phyllis was born in Belleville, NJ and resided in Montclair since 1986. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Kean University, Union. Phyllis was employed by the 1st Cerebral Palsy Center, Belleville as an Occupational Therapist for 35 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, baking and skiing in Vermont. Phyllis loved the outdoors.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years Thomas A. Smith III; her beloved children Thomas A. Smith and Ian Smith; her dear siblings Rita Salva, Andrew Ficuciello and Adelee Arato; and her loving nieces and nephews Eric Krajac, Christopher Arato, Jeffrey Arato, Samantha Choinski, Aislinn Moulton, Lauren Moulton and Steven Perault.
