Beloved Mother and Grandmother, 82
Mrs. Phyllis (nee Tamburri) Lembo, 82, of Belleville NJ, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, April 27 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, April 28 at 8:45 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 155 William Street, Belleville at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Mrs. Lembo was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for over 40 years. She was an Administrative Assistant with the John Hancock Insurance Company, Rochelle Park for 30 years before retiring. Mrs. Lembo was a member of the Belleville and Nutley Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Paula DeFilippo and her husband Vincent; her loving daughter-in-law Helen Bell; and her cherished grandchildren Salvatore DeFilippo, Nicole Gillan and her husband Sean, Tyler, Sebastian and Gianna Lembo.
Mrs. Lembo is predeceased by her husband Paul Lembo (1996) and her son Nicholas Lembo (2020).
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects in a timely fashion and exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the funeral home. Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
