Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Brother-in-law, 94
Mr. Patrick J. Mayo, 94, of Nutley, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2022, at th Job Haines Home, Bloomfield. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, May 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated on Tuesday, May 3 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Madonna Chapel Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefley’s Lane, Fort Lee, NJ.
Mr. Mayo was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, before moving to Nutley in 1997. He was employed as a maintenance machinist for Dickson Crucible Pencil Company, Jersey City amongst other companies for many years before finishing his career as an electrician for University Hospital, Newark for twelve years before retiring. Mr. Mayo also enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Mr. Mayo is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-seven years Roberta Audrey (nee Haskins) Mayo; his loving children Joseph Mayo and his wife Patricia, Patti-Lynn Neilan, and Dawn Gerbino and her husband Mike; his cherished grandchildren Lynn and her husband Phil, Brian and his wife Amy, John and his wife Kelley, Nicole and her partner Sikan, Michael John and his girlfriend Leighann, and Christopher; his treasured great grandchild Jack; and his dear sister-in-law Annette Mayo.
Mr. Mayo is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Angelina (nee Costa) Mayo; his son John R. Mayo; his two brothers John and Anthony Mayo; and his son-in-law Michael P. Neilan.
