Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 86

Mrs. Neva (nee Meola) Pinto, 86, of Brick NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her home.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, December 20 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted on Saturday, December 21 at 8:45 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark at 10:00 a.m.  The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.   

Mrs. Pinto was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Lakewood for many years before moving to Brick five years ago.  She was an assembler for ITT, Nutley for many years before retiring  in 1991.  Mrs. Pinto was a longtime Lakewood Red Hats member,  

She is survived by her beloved children John Pinto and his wife Karen, and Vickie DeRogatis and her husband Marc; her cherished grandchildren John Pinto and his wife Danielle and Ashley DeRogatis; her precious great-grandchildren Nicholas and Jason; her loving sister-in-law Norma Meola and also her many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pinto is predeceased by her husband Victor Pinto (1994), her parents John and Philomena “Minnie” (nee Galasso) Meola, her brother Nicholas Meola, and her sister Rose Veneiro.
