Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 86
Mrs. Naia A. (nee Campora) Bono, 86, of Bloomfield, NJ, formerly of Manchester and Belleville, NJ passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Sunday, August 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Monday, August 16 at 9:45 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place, Nutley at 11:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Glendale Chapel Mausoleum, Bloomfield.
Mrs. Bono was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Manchester and Belleville before moving to Bloomfield. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative for The Prudential Insurance Company, Newark for 20 years before retiring in 1997.
She is survived by her beloved children Fran DiMaio and her husband Nick, Jo Gamarro and her husband Anthony; Annette Del Mauro and Anthony De Matteo; her loving sisters Rose Musi and Sadie Donnino; her cherished grandchildren Kara McIlvaine and her husband Patrick, Alexa Meola and her husband Dylan, Alana Viso and her husband Thomas, Gina and Francesca Del Mauro, and Sarea De Matteo; her precious great-grandchildren Quinn, Reece and Jackson; and her former son-in-law Anthony Del Mauro. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bono is predeceased by her husband Joseph Bono (2016), and her brother Anthony Campora.
