Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 76

Mrs. Monserrate (nee Carlo) Lamboy, 76, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at. St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, September 14 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, September 15 at 10:30 a.m.  The entombment will be at Glendale Chapel Mausoleum, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.

Mrs. Lamboy was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and resided in Newark before moving to Belleville in 1984.  She earned an Associate’s Degree in teaching from Kean University, Union.  Mrs. Lamboy was a pre-school teacher at St. Bridget’s Pre-School in Newark before retiring.  Previously, she was a Case Manager for the Department of Health in the City of Newark.  Mrs. Lamboy was also a graduate of the Bible School of Spanish Eastern District Assemblies of God.

Mrs. Lamboy is survived her beloved husband of 60 years Israel Lamboy, Sr.; her devoted children Israel Lamboy, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, and Marixsa Lamboy; her loving siblings Ramon Carlo and Porfiria Perrony; her cherished grandchildren Jonathan Alvarado, Lizette Falzone and her husband Daniel, Mari Walters and her husband Brian, and Joshua Lamboy and his finance` Haley Monk; and her precious great-granddaughters Zoe Falzone and Juliet Falzone.  She is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents Santiago and Hilda (nee Camacho) Carlo.
