Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, 77

Mr. Michael J. Line, 77, of Belleville, NJ passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, July 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, July 8 at 8:30 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Paul’s Church, 124 Union Avenue, Clifton at 9:30 a.m.  The entombment will be Glendale Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.

Michael was born in Paterson, NJ and resided in Belleville, NJ for the past 36 years.  Michael was a teacher for many years in the Elmwood Park School System before retiring.  He was also a high school football coach for Glen Rock High School for many years and continued coaching for five years after his retirement from teaching.  He loved being referred to as “Coach” and was extremely passionate about the game, his fellow coaches and his players. Michael served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Paul’s Church in Clifton.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Diana (nee Strashinsky) Line; his devoted daughter Danielle Lee and her husband Edward; and his cherished granddaughters Olivia and Vivian.
