Michael Ingino Obituary

Michael Ingino

World War II Army Veteran

Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 97

Private funeral services will be held for Mr. Michael Ingino, 97, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Michael was born in Volturara Irpina, Italy to Anthony and Teresa (nee Risoli) Ingino and emigrated to the United States at the age of 13 in 1937.   He married    the “love of his life”, Frances, who he forever adored.  Michael was a long-time Belleville resident before moving to West Orange.  He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II.

Michael worked in construction as a member of the Laborers International Union of North America, Local #3, Mountainside, NJ before retiring in 1987.  He had a true passion for cooking Italian meals and making special sandwiches for family and friends.  His trips to Italy with his wife Frances were the great joys and memories of his life.  He lived a long, happy life with humor and devotion to his family

Michael is survived by his four beloved daughters, Tere Bresin and her partner Jay, Michele Terracciano and her husband Joe, Toni Marino and her husband Lenny, and Anne Cacchioli and her late husband Charles.  He was a sweet and loving grandfather to Nicholas and his wife Amanda, Lenny, Jennifer and Lauren and her husband Scott; and great-grandfather to Matthew, Benjamin and Amani.  There are many special people in his life, notably his friend of over 30 years, Dominick Guarnaccia, who Mike called his son.

He is predeceased by his wife of 71 years Frances (nee Yezzi) Ingino (2017), and  and his sister and brother-in-law Carmella and Anthony Mobilio.

Michael passed away at Green Hills Nursing Facility, West Orange where he was lovingly cared for by his guardian angels, Robert, Alex, and Margaret.  Michael will be missed for his many memorable expressions and his joy in telling stories about his life adventures.
