Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister, 75
Mrs. Mary C. Damiano (nee Carnasciole), aged 75, predeceased by her loving husband of 27 years, Frank Damiano, Sr (1992), a cherished resident of Morristown, NJ, and formerly of Newark, passed away serenely on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
Visitation to honor Mary's memory will be held at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, located at 540 Franklin Avenue, on Thursday, August 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A solemn funeral service will commence from the funeral home on Friday, August 25, at 9:15 a.m. Following this, a reverent funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, situated at 23 Abington Avenue, Newark, starting at 10:30 a.m. Mary's final resting place will be at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.
Born in Newark, NJ to John M. Carnasciole and his wife Janet, beloved sister, Joyce Angela Grzynkowicz. Mary flourished in her hometown where she raised her family before settling in Morristown. She was an alumna of Essex County Vocational High School in Newark. Professionally, Mary excelled as a Sales Director for NTE Electronics in Bloomfield for several years, later contributing her skills as a Market Coordinator for ROA Hutton, Paramus, until her well-earned retirement a decade ago.
Mary's legacy is carried on by 6 adoring children: Frank Damiano Jr., and his wife Kathleen; Anthony Damiano; Michael Damiano; Lori Marano, and her husband Rich; Vincent Damiano and his wife Maria and Vito Damiano and his partner, Erin. She leaves behind a precious legacy and will be missed by her 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life. Her nurturing spirit extended to her nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
