Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Aunt 88

Mrs. Marlene Giordano, 88, of Clark, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, September 25 from 4:00 – 8:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Agnes Church, 332 Madison Hill Road Clark, NJ on Tuesday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Marlene was born in the Ironbound Section of Newark, NJ and was a resident of Clark for fifty-seven years. Upon graduating East Side High School, she was employed by the Equitable Life Assurance Society. After raising her family, she worked part-time as a sales representative for the American Greetings Card Company, before retiring. Marlene was active in many civic organizations, volunteering for many years with the Clark Democratic Committee.  

Marlene will be remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and caring friend who would do anything to help anyone. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Marissa, who was the light of her life. Her granddog Roxy also had a special place in her heart. Marlene was loved by all and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Sheryl Giordano, Sharon Feehan and her husband Robert; her granddaughter Marissa Feehan; and her sister Barbara LaTorre. She is also survived by her loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marlene is predeceased by her husband Carmine “Red” Giordano, her daughter Denise Giordano, and her parents Jerry and Mary (nee Tororiello) Gervolino.
