Beloved Mother, Sister, and Grandmother, 74

Lorraine Ann (nee Mezzatesta) Solomon, 74, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Because of the current health advisories, there will be a private family visitation and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  There will be a memorial mass celebrated at a later date.

Lorraine was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley since 1978.   She was employed for 20 years as a Compound Specialist Controller for Hoffman La Roche, Nutley.  Lorraine later worked as an Office Manager for Dr. Marina Alexandrova in Nutley before retiring.  She was a member of the Holy Family Rosary Society.

She is survived by her beloved children Laura Clar and her husband Theodore Clar III, and Edward Solomon and his wife Pamela; her loving sisters Arlene Ferrara and her husband Steve, Kathy Flaherty and her husband James, and Linda Castrichini and her husband Felix; her cherished grandchildren Jessica Paige Falco and her husband Michael, Amanda Elyse Solomon, and Emma Elisabeth Solomon.  She is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lorraine is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary (nee Poultney) Mezzatesta, and her twin brother Joseph Mezzatesta.
