Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, 76

Mrs. Linda Gail (nee Finkler) Gabriele, 76, of Highland Lakes, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, March 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Pam Bakal officiating.  The cremation will be held privately.

Linda was born in Jersey City, NJ and graduated from North Bergen High School.  She resided in Highland Lakes for the past 47 years where she raised her family.  Linda was a Professional Secretary and Administrative Assistant.  She was also a Sunday School Teacher at Presbyterian Church, and a Teacher’s Assistant at Lounsberry Hollow Middle School in Vernon, NJ.  Linda served as part of the Volunteer Ambulance and Emergency Response Team (EMT).

She was an avid Painter and Artist.  She had a strong love for her family and friends – both near and far.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  Linda was devoted to her faith with a strong religious connection.  She was the most selfless, honest and humble person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years Robert Gabriele; her devoted children Tracy Gabriele-Fata and her son-in-law Gerry of Nutley, NJ, and Robert Gabriele and her daughter-in-law Susan Shearer of New Milford, NJ; her cherished granddaughter Giavanna “Gigi” Fata; and her loving sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bob and Patricia Woll. 

She is predeceased by her parents Henry and Lois Finkler.
