Beloved Daughter, Sister, and Aunt, 62
Karen Giordano, 62, of Margate, FL, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville after she lost her battle to COVID-19. Karen would have celebrated her 63rd birthday on January 22, 2021. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, February 4th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Karen was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley before moving to Margate, FL 30 years ago after graduating Nutley High School. She was an investigator for the Check Cashing Store/Money Mart in the Fort Lauderdale, FL for over 30 years.
All those who had the privilege of knowing Karen, knew she loved her family and friends with her whole heart and soul. She loved to laugh, joke and spend quality time with her loved ones. The world has lost an amazing person, but heaven has gained a remarkable angel.
Karen is survived by her beloved mother, Josephine (nee Paolilla) Giordano; her dear brothers and dear sister Robert, Michael and Gabriella Giordano; her cherished nieces and nephews Christina and David Grobosky, Frank and Colleen Giordano, Amanda and Alex Navarro; and her precious great-nephews Angelo and Frankie.
She is predeceased by her father Robert Giordano (1985), and her sister-in-law Linda Giordano.
Despite living in Florida for over 30 years, Karen will always be a “Jersey Girl”, and will forever remain in our hearts, love and prayers.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects in a timely fashion and exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the funeral home. Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
