Great-Great-Grandmother, 102

Mrs. Julia (née Cifelli) Alterizio, 102, of Toms River passed away at AristaCare at Manchester on Sunday,  January 5, 2020.  The funeral will be conducted from the   Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, January 10.  There will be a funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.   Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, Union.   

Mrs. Alterizio was born in the Ironbound Section of Newark, NJ, and resided there for 85 years until moving to Toms River 18 years ago.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children Judy Parker and her husband Harry, and Carole Veneziano and her husband Joe Vee; her loving grandson David Parker and his wife Kim; and her cherished great-granddaughters, Nicole Esposito, Jessica Parker and Megan Parker.  She is also survived by her precious great-great grandsons Gerard and Leonardo James.

Mrs. Alterizio was predeceased by her husband James Alterizio (1985), her parents Nicola and Margaret Cifelli (1977), and her loving brothers Carmine, Nicholas (Turk), and Anthony Cifelli.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
