Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, 78

Mrs. Joyce (nee Curcio) Infantozzi, 78, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Mountainside Medical Center, Glen Ridge surrounded by her loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, April 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25 at 9:30 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 – 7th Avenue, Newark at 10:45 a.m.  The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.

Joyce was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 51 years. She worked as a hairdresser at her mother’s salon, Salon 170 in Newark for many years.  Joyce was later employed by Boiling Springs Bank in Rutherford before retiring.  She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her greatest joy was cooking for, and spending time with her family.   

She is survived by her beloved daughters Karla Capozzi and her former husband Eugene, Nicole Simeone, and Jennifer Shimokawa and her husband Jorge; her loving siblings Louis Curcio and his wife Angela, and Maryjo Sarrecchia; her cherished grandchildren Nicky, Alexa, Jake, Jianna, Joseph, Jorden, Jorgie and Jade; and her precious great-grandchildren Gage Simeone, Andelina Tobia, and Josie Vogt.  She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Joyce is predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas Infantozzi (2010), her parents Louis and Filomena (nee Liloia) Curcio. her son-in-law Joseph Simeone, and her brother-in-law Joseph Sarrecchia.
