Mr. Joseph S. Zito, 83, of   Nutley, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Clara Maass Medical Center Belleville. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, November 16th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, November 17th at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington NJ 07031.

Joseph was born in Newark, and was a lifelong resident of Nutley. Joe began his career in Clifton as a Salesman for Brogan Cadillac before retiring from the Totowa location in 2016 after 45 years of services. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved everything about history.  

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Nancy (nee Cohn) Zito, his daughter Cheri Rusinack and her husband Daniel, his son-in-law John Pontician, his sister Elizabeth Zito Gingerelli, his cherished grandchildren Kristen Neu and her husband David, Brittany Rusinack and her husband Frank McGloin, and his dear grandson Justin Williamson. He is also survived by his precious great grandchildren Emily Neu, Olivia Neu, Nico Rusinack and Lucca Rusinack.

He is predeceased by his parents Patrick and Elvira (nee D’Aiello) Zito, his daughter Lisa Pontician and his siblings; Patrick Zito and Linda Zito.
