Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 82

Mr. Jose A. Pagan, 82, of Newark, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. The cremation will be held privately.

Mr. Pagan was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico where he resided before emigrating to New York in 1991, and then moving to Newark, NJ in 1998.  He was a self-employed sales representative for many years before retiring.  Mr. Pagan was an avid New York Yankee fan.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Maria A. (nee Ortega) Pagan; his devoted children Jose A. Pagan and his wife Lourdes, Lydia E. Pagan, Evelyn Cordero and her fiancé Daniel Vargas, Carlos M. Pagan and his fiancé Daisy Quintana, and Nadya V. Pagan ; his dear brothers Heraclio Pagan and Carlos Cruz; and his cherished grandchildren Alex, Omar, Carlos, Corima, Deanna, Kaiulanni, Carlos, Krystal, Kayla, Jose, Mary Lou, Edwin, and Amarylis.  He is also survived by his many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Pagan is predeceased by his parents Gabriel and Hortensia (nee Cruz) Pagan.
