Jose “Bambo” Burgos was born on July 10, 1965 in Tenares, Dominican Republic and went on home to our heavenly father on April 11, 2020.  Bambo was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years Josefa Burgos, his three adult children Jose, Geraldine, and Rosanna Burgos, and his grandchildren Xavian, Kamryn, Bradyn, Evyn and Edann.

Bambo worked as a Laundry Captain at the Park Central Hotel in New York City, New York for 34 years.  When he was not working, he would enjoy spending his time with his family and friends.  Bambo had a special and unique bond with his siblings:  Altagracia, Ramon, Danilo, Rosa Elena, Lorenza, Miguel Angel, Rafael, and Reynaldo.

Bambo lived every moment of his life to the fullest extent and valued happiness over regret.  Bambo will greatly be missed, but he will forever be in our hearts.
