Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 88

Mr. John S. Pizzuto, 88, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue, on Friday, November 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, November 5 at 9:15 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30 a.m. with military honors.  The cremation will be held privately.

Mr. Pizzuto was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in New Jersey for 41 years, most recently moving to Bloomfield five years ago.  He attended trade school for printing, and was the President of Rolls Offset Group in Teterboro for 35 years before retiring in 2016.  Mr. Pizzuto served honorably in the United States Army.  He enjoyed traveling and playing in casinos.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  Mr. Pizzuto was everybody’s “favorite”.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Carol (nee Forte) Pizzuto; his devoted children Carolyn Pizzuto, Patricia Pizzuto, Larry Ricci and Frank Ricci; his loving sister Lucy Bressi; his cherished grandchildren Michael Berchoff,   Nicholas Ricci and Marco Ricci; and his precious great-granddaughter Emerson Berchoff.  He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.   

Mr. Pizzuto is predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Angelina (nee Piazza) Pizzuto, and his siblings Mary Romeo, Frank Pizzuto, Anna Famularo, Joseph Pizzuto, Benny Pizzuto, Vivian Calegari, Josephine Pizzuto, Sam Pizzuto and Nick Pizzuto.
