Beloved Husband and Father, 59
Mr. Joaquim M. Pereira, 59, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, January 28 at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until time of service. The cremation will be held privately.
Mr. Pereira was born in Leiria, Portugal and emigrated to Newark, NJ at the age of 13 where he resided until moving to Belleville in 2015. He was employed by J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. in Newark as a construction worker for many years. Mr. Pereira was hardworking, and was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Martha Gonzalez; his devoted children Patrick Pereira and Christopher Pereira and his wife Vera Lopes; and his loving step-children Irina Erazo and her husband Juan Vaca, and Eduardo Erazo and his wife Ana Rivadeneira.
