Beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother, 44

Izaak Medina, 44, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023, surrounded by family and friends, at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  There will be a Memorial Visitation at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, November 17 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.   A Memorial Celebration of his Life, officiated by Pastor Anthony Ventola, of Agape Worship Center, will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by a balloon release in his honor.

Izaak was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Bloomfield in 2001 where together with his life partner, he started his family.  He worked for Showcase Kitchen and Bath for many years, and was a night shift security guard for Sterling Securities Inc., before opening his own computer technology company in 2017, Izaak Medina, LLC.   Izaak adored his son, Izaak, Jr. and his life partner, Lana. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.  In his free time, he enjoyed working with electronics and computer technology.

He is survived by his beloved life partner of 23 years Lana Santimone; his loving son Izaak Medina, Jr., his devoted mother Sophie Lugo,; his loving siblings Aaron Colon and Hazel Medina; his loving nephew Vincent Santimone; and his dear father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Maria Fitz.

Izaak is predeceased by his father Peter Medina (1985).
