Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 89
Mrs. Helen (nee Sardini) Calleo, 89, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, April 9 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley on Saturday, April 10 at 9:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Mrs. Calleo was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley for the past 56 years. She was employed as a Payroll Specialist, for Drakes Bakeries, Wayne for 25 years before retiring 20 years ago. Mrs. Calleo was a member of the September Club at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield, and the Sassy Seniors at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
She is survived by her beloved children Angela Godino and her husband Frank, Vincent Calleo and his wife Cindy, and Nicholas Calleo and his wife Susan Scavone; her loving brother Joseph Sardini; her cherished grandchildren Michael, Danielle, Matthew, Christopher, Joshua, Bella and Marina; and her precious great-grandson, Jackson.
Mrs. Calleo is predeceased by her husband Frank Calleo (2006), and her brother Mario Sardini.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic occupancy limitations, visitors are asked to pay their respects in a timely fashion and exit in order to allow others the opportunity to enter the funeral home. Visitors are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
