 Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 83

Mr. Gustavo A. Iturralde, 83, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Visitation will be held at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Avenue, Nutley, on Thursday, July 21 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  There will be funeral service celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Cremation will be held privately.

Gustavo was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador where he attended the University of Guayaquil, where he graduated with a degree in Marine Biology. He proudly served in the Ecuadorian Navy for twenty years before retiring as a Sergeant. He then immigrated to Queens, New York in 1992 before moving to Bloomfield in 2013.

He is survived by his beloved children Gustavo Mauricio Iturralde and his wife Ayesa Guerrero, Mary Iturralde Sagese and her husband Americo Sagese, and Lisette Iturralde; his caring brothers Rafael and Jorge Iturralde; his dear sisters Amanda Jaramillo and Fanny Iturralde; his cherished grandchildren Gusti and his wife Victoria, Roberto, Annette, Daniel, Valentina, Gabriel and Adrian; and his treasured great-grandchildren Matteo, Noel and Ayla. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Gustavo is predeceased by his wife Colombia (nee Arriaga) Iturralde; and his parents Alejandro and Zoila (nee Zavala) Iturralde.
