Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Grandfather, 58

Mr. Gerard DeVito, 58, of Newark, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, March 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at 2:30 p.m.  The cremation will be held privately.

Gerard was born in Newark, NJ and was a lifelong resident.  He was employed as a Construction Worker for Local #1153, Bloomfield for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife Lashonda DeVito, his children Kayla DeVito, Shanisha DeVito, Sherod DeVito, and Josh DeVito; his parents; his two granddaughters and his grandson; and also his two brothers and his sister.
