Mr. Frank Sprella, Jr., 93, of Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Belleville and Lavallette, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 2. Frank would have celebrated his 94th birthday on September 18. There will be a funeral mass celebrating Frank’s life on Friday, September 10 at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Upper Montclair with military honors.
Mr. Sprella was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville and Lavallette, NJ before moving to Jupiter, Florida six years ago. He was the former owner and proprietor of Delavan Auto Body Shop, Belleville for over 40 years. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He will also be missed by his dedicated caregivers Patty, Jay and Corina, and his best friend, his dog Bella.
Mr. Sprella is predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary (nee Giannetti) Sprella, his brothers Salvatore and Jerry, his sisters Jean Romano, Grace Renato, Angie Pizzi and Josephine Sprella, and his longtime companion, Dolores Baldino.
