Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather

and Great Grandfather, 87

Mr. Frank Russo, 87, of Bridgewater, NJ, formerly of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave, Nutley at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ.

Mr. Russo was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley for many years before moving to Bridgewater twenty years ago. He was the co-owner of Ironbound Plumbing, Newark for many years before retiring. Mr. Russo served as the past president of the Newark Rotary Club which is the oldest Rotary club in New Jersey. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy, in the South Pacific.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Elizabeth (nee Pecoraro) Russo; his loving children Lisa Alvarez, Diana Tarantula and her husband Michael, Maria Pacillo and her husband  Michael; his dear siblings Richard Russo, Francine Krawiec, and Joanne Matarazzo; his caring grandchildren Rosemarie, Carlos, Carla, Laura, Michelle, Michael, Lisamarie, Krista, and Elizabeth; and his cherished great grandchildren Michael III and Carlos III who will all continue to live their life “Frank's Way” after his favorite Frank Sinatra song “My Way”.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to the New Jersey Humane Society 6412 Dewey Ave, West New York, NJ 07093.
