Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather, 90
Mr. Frank J. Piegaro, Sr., 90, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, July 28 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, July 29 at 9:15 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Mr. Piegaro was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 60 years. He was an Electroplater for Wallace and Tiernan for many years before retiring. Previously he worked with his brothers at Calumet Plating, Newark. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved children Frank Piegaro, and Rose Mary Mauriello and her husband James; his loving sister Kate Pignatora; and his cherished grandchildren Elyse, Jamie, and Angela.
Mr. Piegaro is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Ann (nee Zampaglione) Piegaro (August, 2020), his loving daughter-in-law Kathy (nee Sollitto) Piegaro, his brothers Joseph, Victor and Nicholas Piegaro, and his sister Anne Pedalino.
