Beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother, 73

Frances (nee Ciccolini) Sgobbo, 73, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River surrounded by her loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, December 19 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted on Friday, December 20 at 8:15 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville at 9:30 a.m.  The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.    

Frances was born and raised in the Forest Hill Section of Newark, NJ where she resided for 58 years before moving to Nutley in 2004.  She graduated from Barringer High School in 1965.  In her younger years she worked as a receptionist in Newark, as well as assisting in her family business Ciccolini Furniture.  She was a loving homemaker spending time with her sisters, children, granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her beloved children Anthony Sgobbo and his wife Ruth, and  Anita Maria Sgobbo-Rodriguez and her husband Jose;  her loving sisters Toni Frannicola and her husband Angelo, and Loretta Kopidlowski and her husband Jack; and also her cherished grandchildren Brooke and Anthony.   She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

 She is predeceased by her parents Settimio and Anna (nee Caruso) Ciccolini.
