Lifelong Belleville Resident
Esther Perry (nee Maiorano), 96, of Belleville, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Ave, Nutley on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 8:30a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at 10:00a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 155 William St, Belleville. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Esther was born in Newark, and was a lifelong resident of Belleville. She was employed for many years as a secretary for the Comboni Missionaries, Montclair before retiring. She was a proud member of the Catholic Daughter’s of America and the Nutley Senior Citizens Friday Club.
Esther is survived by her loving children Frank Perry, and his wife Evelyn, Barbara Perry, and her longtime loving companion Ted Costa, and Debra Wojak, and her husband Marc; her dear brother Joseph Morano; and her cherished grandchildren Philip Perry, Ariana Castillo, and her husband Ivan, Kristen Perry, Nicole Perry, Jaclyn Perry, Brandon Wojak, and Brianna Wojak.
Esther is predeceased by her beloved husband Franklin Perry (1990), her treasured parents Antonio and Josephine (nee Guilino) Maiorano, and her dear brothers Mario and Dominic Morano.
