Mr. Ennio “Tony” Gioino, 75, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Ave, Nutley, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave, Nutley at 9:30 a.m. Cremation will be held privately.
Mr. Gioino was born in Lioni, Avellino, Italy and emigrated to Belleville on September 15, 1972. He was a carpenter for many years at various companies in Essex County. Most recently he was a Belleville School Crossing Guard on the corners of Joralemon St. and Dewitt Ave. Mr. Gioino was also a proud member of the Italia Unita 1982, Lyndhurst.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Annamaria (nee Pepe) Gioino; his loving daughter Angela Gioino- Kistner and her husband Matthew; his dear brother Remo Gioino and his devoted sisters Ermina Albanese, Gemma Bello, and Filomena Bordino; his cherished granddaughter Gemma Kistner and also his many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gioino is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Angela (nee Verderosa) Gioino; and his brother Guglielmo Gioino.
