Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt, 86

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann (nee Zampaglione) Piegaro, 86, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her home.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, August 12 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, August 13 at 9:15 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 a.m.  The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.

Mrs. Piegaro was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 60 years.  She was a supervisor for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Bloomfield for over 20 years before retiring.    

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Frank Piegaro; her devoted children Frank Piegaro, and Rose Mary Mauriello and her husband James; and her cherished grandchildren Elyse, Jamie and her significant other Brent Mulder, and Angela.  Elizabeth is also survived by her niece, her seven nephews, and her loving cousins and close friends.

Mrs. Piegaro is predeceased by her daughter-in-law Kathy (nee Sollitto) Piegaro, and her sister Kathleen Nigro.
